17th CENTURY ENGLISH CIVIL WAR PERIOD LOBSTER TAILED HELMET

This is a nice original 17th Century English Civil War Period Lobster helmet, the skull embossed with radiating ribs and ring to the top, shaped fix visor drawn out to a peak with turn rim, adjustable nasal bar with the heart shape and a four lame neck guard, as can be seen it still has some of the leather left inside which doesn't happen too often, this one was found in the Yorkshire area, potentially one used on Marston moor or one of the local skirmishes around the North Yorkshire area.
