WW2 BRITISH UNIT MARKED MKII HELMET

This is nice example of a MKII helmet which the liner and shell are both dated 1939. The helmet retains its original finish and has a red triangle mark on its front. However i do not know if the marking is a Home front or military marking. The shell does appear to have traces of black paint and may have been used as civil defence. The liner is maker marked "J.S.C. & W.LTD" for Crompton Sons & Webb LTD and size stamped 7.
