VICTORIAN ROYAL NAVY OFFICER'S SWORD (NAMED)

This is a Victorian Royal Navy Officer's sword and scabbard produced by the Wilkinson Sword Company of London, it has the serial number 1435 on the spine of the blade, the grip still has its copper twistwire, the pommel is a Lion and the gothic 1827 pattern guard bears the crowned fouled anchor in a cartouche, the folding guard is in tact and is inscribed H.J. BUNDY. R.N., the blade has seen better days with rust spots and the scabbard is in poor condition with the bottom brass piece missing and the spine coming away from its stitching.
