IMPERIAL GERMAN 1889 PATTERN SWORD (ERFURT)

This is a very nice German 1889 Pattern sword with the makers Erfurt, as worn by a German Infantry officer during the period 1889 to 1918. The sword features the classic wire wrapped black ‘curved’ fish skin grip with full wire wrap, retaining the Royal Monogram badge for Kaiser Wilhelm II. The grip is mounted onto twin branched shaped guard, with capped brass pommel and folding Prussian eagle langet. Proof of age must be provided. U.K. Sales Only.
