WW2 BRITISH 2ND PATTERN DENISON PARATROOPER SMOCK
This is a nice example of a 2nd Pattern Denison paratrooper smock, still retaining it's tail, half-zip and button cuffs. The camouflage pattern has nice fresh colours and the smock still retains it's contract label, which you can just make out the contractor's name "John Gordon" with a very faint 1945 date. The smock is approximately a size 2. The half-zip and all the brass press-studs are in working condition. This example also retains it's tail, however the left-hand tail stud is missing, but has been been secured by a stitch. The tail tended to be cut-off, which was common practice by British paratroopers, as it tended to get in the way.
