BRITISH HEAVY DUTY BELT

This is a British Army heavy duty belt with large steel buckle and a rear central hoop with a leather patch, I'm unable to find what this is specifically for but I believe it could possibly be for a vehicle of a Aircraft to hold you in place whilst you potentially fire your machine gun.
