WW2 GERMAN ARMY ADMINISTRATOR'S TUNIC (NAMED)
This is a very nice example of an Army administrator's ( Wehrmachtbeamten ) uniforn. The tunic is in the cut of a Reichwehr tunic with green waffenfarbe ( branch of service colour ) piped down the front and round the french cuffs, one of the cuffs does have a small hole in it and small amount of moth tracking on the back but it hasn't gone through. The tunic is a private purchase item with the tailors paper label inside the internal chest pocket. The tailors name is Reinecke & Sohn, Flensburg. The name of the original owner is also on the label Herr Fwardriske and dated 1/12/1938. ( I may have spelt the the original owner's name wrong ). The shoulder boards are piped twice, green underlay for the Wehrmachtbeamten branch colour and white for attached to Infantry units, with the distinctive HV device with the rank of Oberleutnant. The tunic also has two sets of stitched loops for various awards.
