This is a fantastic collection of medals and a letter of Gallantry to a Corporal F Foulger 21536, the medals include 1914 Star with the Old Contemptible Bar, The British War Medal and the Victory Medal 1914-18 War, the set also includes his dog tags and a picture of him in uniform, The Letter of Gallantry is dated 1916 to Corporal F Foulger where the Major General Commanding desires to place on record his appreciation of Corporal F Foulger 21536 A.S.C 3 Coy that on the morning of the 26th December 1915 a pair of horses attached to a limberes wagon holted through the street in Bethune, the driver having lost control of them through retaining his seat in the saddle, Corporal Foulger galloped aside of them and managed to stop them at considerable risk to himself. The letter is dated 8th January 1916 and has the name SRobinson Lieut Colonel and certified by a Capt E Wallace, the OC of 3 Coy. This has true history.
