VERY RARE LUFTWAFFE MAJOR KONSTANTIN HAHM HONOR SALVER PLATE

This is a very nice and super rare WW2 German Luftwaffe Honor Salver plate which was issued to Major Konstantin Hahm on the AM 7.2.44, He was the Commander of the II./Fallschirmjäger-Regiment "Hermann Göring". He was also a Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipient. This plate has the makers Feinsilber (ALPAKA) Auflage Jon.Wagner&Son.

Luftwaffe Honor plate was an award for outstanding combat performance given by the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) during the Second World War. It was introduced on 15 June 1942 by the Reich Minister of Aviation and head of the Luftwaffe, Hermann Göring.1 It was awarded to members of the Luftwaffe field army units as a counterpart to the honor of flying. About 50 were awarded, the exact number is unknown. These were awarded up until 10th December 1944.
