WW2 BRITISH OFFICER'S 37 PATTERN BATTLEDRESS BLOUSE

This is a 37 pattern battledress blouse which has had the collar tailored for officer use. The BD has the rank of captain and the regimental shoulder titles of the "BUFFS" ( Royal East Kent Regiment ). The blouse is in very good condition, retaining the maker's contract label, however all the details have been washed out. It also has the original owners name written on the lining "J.Denyer". The waist flap has had a press-stud added, probably by the tailor, when the collar was altered. It is approximately a size 9.
