RARE WW2 U.S. M1942 JUNGLE SUIT (UN-ISSUED)

This is a unissued example of a M1942 jungle suit which was first issued the army and Marine Corps units. However it was ill suited for combat wear. It was mostly issued to rear echelon units. This example is in mint unissued condition, retaining its internal braces which are normally removed for more comfort. The suit retains its contract label which gives the size 38 long, manufacturer "H.D.LEE Mercantile Company" and the date 17th September 1942" It also has the UGW union trademark label on the inside right breast pocket. UGW stands for United Garment Works of America.
