This is a Enfield 1918 dated MKIII * SMLE rifle which was deactivated in 1988, which was introduced in 1907 and was the main service rifle during WW1. It continued to be the main service rifle to 1941 when it was officially replaced by the No4. This example is dated 1918 and is in very good condition. The bolt, receiver, nose cap and sight is matching numbered. This is one of the very best examples of an untouched SMLE (Short Magazine Lee-Enfield ) rifle, one could possibly buy and would enhance any rifle collection. For Non EU Sales Only.
