VERY RARE WW2 GERMAN AIRCRAFT TAIL SWASTIKA
This is a very nice rare and large WW2 German Aircraft tail Swastika with majority of its paint in tact, you can see there are there looks to be 5 large bullet holes to it, all the little holes are where the rivets use to be to connect it to the plane, I'm not sure which plane this has came off, I believe a Maybe as it’s painted green and its size maybe from a junkers or Henkel tail, but I'm not 100%, this belonged to an old lady who had it in her house for decades, there is some writing which has been put on in red paint saying 501 "Ditscher" Harris St Meux France 1940. I'm not 100% sure the meaning behind this, I suppose the only person will know is the individual who wrote it, but It looks like it was found in 1940 in France, I'm not sure why they wrote Ditscher either. It could be a nickname of a pilot from 501 Sqn as they were based around there in 1940, it could be someone who was attached to 501 Sqn, This measures 26" x 26". A fantastic piece to have in a collection.
