This is a nice Deactivated WW1 1917 dated Carcano M91/38 6.5mm Carbine in good deactivated condition which is the latest eu spec so it has a moving bolt and trigger, but non firing action and a 1917 Bresia stamped example and also on the stock. The Carcano Carbine was introduced in 1891 and served with mounted and armoured troops until it was officially replaced in 1938 by the larger calibre M38, although they were all used until the end of the war by the Fascist forces.
