This is a Sten MKIII with a original sling, the sling is dated 1944, the Sten was deactivated in1990 so it is able to strip, cock and dry fire, this Sten has the T stock. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purchase.

The Sten gun was developed due to the United Kingdom's need for a submachine gun which it did not have when the U.K. entered the 2nd World War. Cheapness and simplicity was paramount in its design. Despite its shortcomings, the Sten was one of the war-winning weapons with over 4 million being produced of all marks.
