WW2 BRITISH MKII PARATROOPER HELMET

This is a 1944 dated MKII paratrooper helmet which is maker marked "BMB" for Briggs Motor Bodies and size stamped 7.1/2. This example appears to have had post-war use and has been issued a multiple times as the liner has a number of different names with their unit numbers. The MKII paratrooper helmet continued to be produced and issued to the late 1970's.
