U.S. M1917 HELMET UNIT MARKED 89TH INFANTRY DIVISION

This is an excellent example of a M1917 helmet retaining all of its original finish with both sides of the helmet shell unit marked with the insignia of the 89th Infantry Division. The shell is stamped 'ZD124". The liner and chinstrap are both still attached and in good condition. U.S. made brodie helmets have a spot revert attaching the chinstrap loops, where British Brodie helmets have a split pin revert.
