This is a 1944 dated MKII paratrooper helmet which is maker marked "BMB" for Briggs Motor Bodies and size stamped 7.1/2. This example appears to have had post-war use and has been issued a multiple times as the liner has a number of different names with their unit numbers. The MKII paratrooper helmet continued to be produced and issued to the late 1970's. read more

This is nice example of a MKII helmet which the liner and shell are both dated 1939. The helmet retains its original finish and has a red triangle mark on its front.
