WW2 BRITISH MKII PARATROOPER HELMET

This is a 1944 dated MKII paratrooper helmet which is maker marked "BMB" for Briggs Motor Bodies and size stamped 7.1/2. This example appears to have had post-war use and has been issued a multiple times as the liner has a number of different names with their unit numbers. The MKII paratrooper helmet continued to be produced and issued to the late 1970's.  read more

WW2 BRITISH UNIT MARKED MKII HELMET

This is nice example of a MKII helmet which the liner and shell are both dated 1939. The helmet retains its original finish and has a red triangle mark on its front. However i do not know if the marking is a Home front or military marking. The shell does appear to have traces of black paint and may have been used as civil defence.
