This is a very good and interesting example of a Commando bergen which has a broad arrow stamp and dated 1945, also looks like it could of been re-issued in 47. The bergen has been personalised by the original owner with the addition of shoulder pads and a small clip for additional items to be attached. WW2 BRITISH BREN SKELETAL ASSAULT JERKIN
This is a very nice un-issued WW2 British skeletal assault jerkin with date 1945 and the makers M & Co. This pattern was also known as the 'Mountain jerkin' as it could be worn in conjunction with the mountain rucksack or 'Bergen'. This has the two frontal pouches for carriage of SMG, Thompson, Bren magazines, grenades etc it also had an integral loop to secure a spike bayonet for the No.4 rifle. read more
