1950s MADE WW2 GERMAN GAU ESSEN BADGE

1950s / 1960s made This is a nice GAU badge in a silver finish, The Gau Essen badge came in silver and gold finishes. These 53mm by 31mm badges consisted of an upright roman style sword with a canted swastika on the grip. Behind the upturned blade were crossed hammers with the dates of 1925 and 1935 printed on the opposing hammer heads. A vertical pin was mounted on the rear of the badge.  read more

This is a very nice civilian issue gas mask in its original box and still has its original carry case with its strap. The gas mask is in nice condition, the rubber is soft and supple and the celluloid lens is nice and clear. This example is dated 1937. A very distinctive ET60 stamped M.17 trench helmet. Excellent camouflage finish in three distinct colours of dark green, dark brown/red and dark yellow with black separation lines. Some scuffs and losses as can be seen from our images.
